We believe that the Bible contains God's message of good news for everyone. It points us to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The good news is that we can be forgiven, finally and fully, by God.
We naturally tend to disobey God and this disobedience has created a barrier between us and God, who is perfect. Because God loves us he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world. Jesus died by crucifiction on a cross to take the punishment for our disobedience and was raised from the dead by His Father on the third day.
In response to God's love He asks us to repent - to turn from our sins to God - and to trust in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness. This experience is called being "born again". Anyone who is born again is guaranteed a place in heaven, and immediately receives the Holy Spirit to guide them through life. The Bible teaches that Christians who have been born again should be baptised by immersion in water. Baptism is an act of obedience to Jesus' command and involves identifying publically with Him.
At our Morning Service at 11:15 am on Sunday we learn more about this Good News, and what the Bible teaches. Come along then to find out more about this good news..
