Cornerstone is an evangelical church, which means that we want to share the good news about Jesus Christ.  We are also an independent church, but have good links with a number of other churches. In addition, we support a number of individuals and organisations with the same mission as us.  

Cornerstone Church started in January 2018, when Christians from two St Albans churches came together. We chose the name Cornerstone because we believe that Jesus Christ should be at the centre of what we believe and do. 

"...built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone."    The Bible - Ephesians 2:20

When we formed Cornerstone church, our vision was:

We want everyone at Cornerstone to be committed to this vision and active in God's service, but we're convinced that Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.  Psalm 127:1.

Cornerstone is led by three people who we call elders.  They are:
